This week has been exceptionally busy for me and I have lost my way with social media (I do apologise for not being so active online). But I have just moved into the big city – London! My next chapter starts here. Whilst I sit on my bed looking out of my window it got me thinking about everything that is going on in the world right now.
Life is a precious thing, every day there is some suffering in the world, but what can we do as individuals to help this? We can be kind, we can be loving and we can all treat each other as equals. Over time we have lost our sense of community and connectedness with nature, which are critical aspects of helping us grow and develop.

After all these past few months have shown and given us, I believe that we really all need to take a moment to assess how we have been as individuals. Have we been selfish and out for our gain? Have we shown compassion when it was needed? Have we ignored the environment and been driven by material possessions…? These questions that we ask ourselves will make us reflect on our actions. Now the thing is, we are all human and we all make mistakes and don’t always act in the best way. My challenge to you is to try and change our mindset and the thinking we do daily.
I ask that we look out for our family, friends, neighbours, colleagues and even random strangers because you never really know what a person is dealing with inside. So, if we can all be a bit kinder to one another, then our own little positive light bubble will shine brighter, as will others, which will create a ripple effect of positivity that surrounds us.

Random acts of kindness shouldn’t be done when we feel like it, these should be done as a daily practice. So moving forward, how can you help? Can you spare 5 minutes to help a friend, give someone a call, treat someone with your creativity, or even just a simple smile and say hello to a stranger. Any act of kindness will not only make you feel better, but the person who receives will feel good – some don’t even have to cost a penny so there really is no excuse!
So be the best version of yourself, because in the end, everyone deserves happiness.
You get one life as you, so make it count. Even in hard and tricky times we can still tap into our thoughts, feelings and emotions and push ourselves to be amazing. It is all inside you waiting to be unleashed.
You have got this. I believe in you.
Love,

Life is an opportunity, benefit from it. Life is beauty, admire it. Life is a dream, realize it. Life is a challenge, meet it. Life is a duty, complete it. Life is a game, play it. Life is a promise, fulfil it. Life is sorrow, overcome it. Life is a song, sing it. Life is a struggle, accept it. Life is a tragedy, confront it. Life is an adventure, dare it. Life is luck, make it. Life is too precious, do not destroy it. Life is life, fight for it. – Mother Teresa
